Extra curricular activities are a part of a sound educational experience; therefore, students are encouraged to participate in athletics and other extra curricular activities. Students need a current physical in order to particpate in school athletics.  Physicals are good for one calendar year.  Students may particpate in as many activities as they desire as long as they meet the academic and league eligibility requirements.  If you have questions about eligibility please contact the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director.

7th and 8th grade students are allowed to participate in football, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, wrestling, track and field, and soccer.

6th grade students are allowed to particpate in wrestling, track and field, and soccer.
Athletic Updates
Fall sports parent meeting will be held at the end of our Back to School Night. Thursday Aug. 19th at 7pm in the cafeteria.
Fees: $50.00 per sport. Payable to Overland Trail Middle School by the first official date of practice.

Admissions/Fees
Fees
  • All fees and paperwork are to be turned in to the front office.
  • Fee for each sport is $50.00 payable to Overland Trail Middle School by the first date of practice.
  • A fee reimbursement form may be submitted for consideration if student withdraws from the sport prior to the first contest date.
  • No fee rembursement will be considered after the first contest date for injury or removal from the team due to ineligibility.
  • Fee waiver request forms are available in the front office.
